GOP’s War on the Tea Party

posted by 3 Comments

Does This Mean WarIt’s what they used to call a fine how-do-you-do. But it’s become commonplace now, after a Republican lawmaker like Ted Cruz or Rand Paul takes a principled stand, to be treated to stories about GOP big shots mouthing off about the Tea Party.

Obviously, the mainstream media has something to do with this. The liberal hacks who pose as journalists these days don’t like the Tea Party because the White House and the Democrats don’t like the Tea Party. So the media have complied with countless false stories about Tea Party racism, Nazism and general criminal behavior.

It follows that they have on speed dial all the country club establishment, Republicans in leadership positions or formerly in leadership positions who also hate the Tea Party for pressuring them to actually serve the people.

The way the game is played today is like this: A guy like Ted Cruz organizes some friends and stands up to the Obama Administration. The Administration does something stupid, like “shutting down” the government by punishing tourists and American travelers. People get mad because of what the Administration is doing. Obama blames  the Republicans. The media blames Republicans. The Republican establishmentarians look up from their lobster salads in puzzlement and blame the Tea Party for magically pulling Republican strings — strings which apparently the Republican so-called leaders didn’t even know existed and have no control over.

For the most part, the Tea Party is out of the loop in Washington, D.C. There are politicians who have the support of many Tea Party members, but it’s not because the Tea Party has bought influence (like Democrats do), it’s because those politicians happen to do things that Tea Party members like, such as actually publicly arguing against allowing Obamacare to go into effect.

But Mitch McConnell is suddenly VERY vocal, and goes for the throat when it comes to any primary challengers or Conservatives that calls his leadership into question. In an incredible illustration of Jeckyll and Hyde.

Along with John McCain, Eric Cantor and John Boehner – McConnell is a key part of the Establishment Triumvirate that sees Conservatives and Tea Party Americans as a nuisance at best, and a dangerous enemy at worst.  When it’s Primary time, they pretend to be Conservatives to win what used to be the Republican base, but once they are seated – they govern against Conservatives and side with or capitulate to the Obama/Liberal Democrat agenda nine times out of ten.  That is McConnell’s record of failed leadership.

The Ruling Class GOP leadership demonstrates it is fully-capable of standing in opposition to those things it hates – and what the fruits show us all, is that they are silent in opposition to Obama, but vitriolic in their battles against Conservatives who do not lick their palms, or sit silent or capitulate to the agenda that is subjugating liberty into tyranny.  In fact, I believe McConnell and the GOP leadership hate and disdain Tea Party/Reagan Conservatives as much as Obama and his MarxoFascists do.  We see it daily, the glee from Democrats to have the GOP leadership go to war for them against their common foe in Conservatism.

AS a NC FOP County Chair it’s very difficult to rally support for the party when the #RINOsaurs keep offending the base. I’m now struggling with resigning or continue on and keep voicing my support for the #grassroots. Just when I think the party is moving in the RIGHT direction, they move more to the left. UGH!!

I CAN ONLY SAY THE GOP LOST THERE BEST CHANCE AT BEING A REAL THREAT TO THE DEMS. BY CAVING IN TO OBAMA AND THE DEMS FOR BARLEY A PENUT AND WORTHLESS PROMISES. I CONSIDER THE GOP TO BE WORTHLESS UNTIL THEY GET RID OF THE OLD GUARD LEADERSHIP OF THE PARTY AND PUT IN SOME STRONG UPRIGHT PEOPLE THAT HAVE ENOUGH BACKBONE TO STAND UP FOR THE PEOPLE AND NOT THE ELITE OF THE PARTY .BUSINESS AND TERM LIMETS ARE INSTALLED AND THE CONSTITUION AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS ARE FOLLOWED.
