South Carolina Tea Party Coalition Convention
Our raison d’etre
In the fall of 2011, the original concept and goals of the South Carolina Tea Party Coalition Convention were first established.
We wanted to create a weekend convention where Authors, Philosophers, Doctors, Conservative organizations and elected officials could all come together and share their fundamental principles, latest research and suggest solutions for the crises facing our nation in peril.
We feel that our Bill of Rights, our very Constitutional foundation, and National, State and Individual sovereignty are under constant attack. Our citizens are deliberately deceived, lied to and misled by many Representatives that have violated their oath of office to the U.S. Constitution.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same…
The President takes a similar oath and we feel that it has been violated by numerous Executive orders and directives including Obamacare, Amnesty, selective enforcement of our laws and scandal after scandal where evidence is withheld while contempt is shown to Congressional oversight.
The SCTPC Convention purpose then is to provide a platform for transparency in an environment, unencumbered by “political correctness” and where our 1st Amendment rights remain in full force.
Thus, since 2012, every speaker has been strongly encouraged to speak honestly and boldly about their ideas, issues and solutions. As long as the Constitution remains the “Law of the Land”, no one is above it and it must be enforced equally and totally without prejudice or exception.
When James Madison wrote The Bill of Rights, he did not write multiple versions for a “Multicultural America”, where the winners and losers are picked by the Executive branch. This Republic is ONE NATION with equal opportunity but not necessarily equal outcomes for all.
Just because “political correctness” has intimidated many individual citizens into giving up some of their 1st Amendment rights, “PC” will forever remain outside the boundaries of this event.
We believe that this intimidation allows a government to operate in secret and it can only survive as long as the truth is kept hidden. Here, it is our goal to expose the truth and offer solutions, so that American citizens can make informed decisions in determining the future of this great nation.
We want to unify rather than divide the American people and if truth is on the table, then people are free to choose how they will pursue their American Dream.
