Chris Holly Tea Party RockersChris Holly: (The Tea Party Rockers) is a new face of conservatism and he carries a guitar. He also stands strongly for limited government, individualism, personal responsibility and a steadfast believer in the 10th amendment. He has experienced both sides of street, from living out of his car (2000) to now owning a small business, a music school with 15 employees. Starting his music career in Hollywood, CA he has toured the world as a rock musician and now resides in Charleston, SC with his wife and 4 year old daughter. Chris Holly has also shared world stages w/ Hootie and the Blowfish, Edwin Mccain, Better Than Ezra, Todd Snyder, Tonic, Toadies, Billy Joe Shaver,Drivin n Cryin, Mike Nesmith.

Debbie Dooley Debbie Dooley: Has been in the IT field for 15 years as a Systems Administrator. In 1987 – 1992 she served as a liason between the Governor’s office and businesses in economic development matters. Debbie has been a grassroots activist since 1976 and has been actively involved in over 40 political campaigns and grassroots initiatives.  She has been very heavily involved with Get Out The Vote efforts and ballot security. Debbie has successfully fought many tax increases on both the local and state level. She is also very actively involved in lobbying at the Georgia Legislature on different issues, including tough ethics reform. she is the Atlanta Tea Party co-founder.

Seton Motley

Seton Motley: Seton Motley is the president of Less Government, a DC-based non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the power of government and protecting the First Amendment from governmental assault. Motley is editor in chief of, a Center for Individual Freedom publication. One of America’s leading authorities on technology and telecom policy, Motley is a writer, television and radio commentator, political and policy strategist, lecturer, debater, and activist.

Trevor LoudonTrevor Loudon: Activist and political researcher from Christchurch New Zealand. I believe in freedom with responsibility, not freedom from responsibility. My ideal society is one in which government is confined to protecting its citizens from criminals and external enemies. I believe in working with all those who are moving in broadly the same direction.  Trevor is also the founder and editor of, a rapidly growing website with the goal of unlocking the covert side of U.S. and Global politics.

Bob MengesBob Menges: Bob resides in Summerville, South Carolina with his wife, Patti.  They have three daughters whom they have homeschooled all the way through high school.  Bob is a retired US Air Force veteran with over 20 years service on active duty.  Following retirement from the military he has been employed as an Aircraft Maintenance Training Requirements Analyst and Technical Writer. On September 12th, 2013, Bob accepted the volunteer position as the South Carolina State Director for the Convention of States (COS) Project. This is a nationwide grassroots effort to call for an Article V Convention of States for the purpose of proposing amendments to the United States Constitution that will limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.

Dr.-Juan-Torres Dr. Juan Torres: Is a physician who holds a great deal of respect for the history, constitution and greatness of the United States of America. He founded the “Latino American Tea Party”, an organization created to inform, educate and unite Hispanics against the growing threat of Socialism and attacks to freedom of Religion and principles upon which this country was founded. He also brought together several state and national organizations to form the “American Hispanic Coalition”. Dr. Torres has also addressed issues related to faith, family and opportunities for Hispanics in the “Values and Voters Summit” and other Tea Party and conservative events in Washington, D.C. and other cities. He is a board member of the “National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference”, the largest Hispanic National Association of Evangelicals in the U.S. He is currently the Central Florida Director for “Bear Witness” ( and “Libertad USA” (

Frank de Varona

Frank de Varona: Is an educator, historian, journalist, and internationally known expert on politics, economics, foreign affairs and national security issues. He was born in Cuba and, at the age of 17, he participated on the Bay of Pigs invasion in an effort to eradicate communism in Cuba. After spending two years in prison, he returned to the United States, where he earned three college degrees. He has written 21 books and over 100 articles in newspapers and magazines. Professor de Varona had just finished America in Decline in November 2013.

Eduardo A. GilEduardo A. Gil: Eduardo is a communications digital content specialist with deep experience in content development, broadcast, and multimedia productions in the edutainment and cross-cultural arena. He has held key roles in content development and promotion of themed programming working and consulting for diverse organizations.In addition to content production, he has been instrumental in designing integrated multimedia campaigns, external communications, market research implementation, and social media execution to generate online engagement with high ROI. He is currently consulting on a new project “Hispanics for America,” a digital platform for Hispanic outreach.

Lou MarinLou Marin: Chief Executive Officer, I Am American Lou Marin is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of I Am, and a highly decorated United States Navy Chief Petty Officer and Gulf War 22 year veteran. Previously, Lou served as Florida Co-State Director for Herman Cain’s 2012 Presidential campaign. Lou is a “grassroots expert” and brings an enormous amount of leadership experience and contacts to the organization. In addition, he is a world-class magician who specializes in corporate sales marketing and he is currently a commercial real estate and a bridge/hard money consultant.

David SchwartzDave Schwartz: AFP South Carolina state director Dave Schwartz has spent his career advocating for conservative policies and giving a voice to hard-working taxpayers.  As AFP Virginia’s state director, Dave spearheaded the fight against Obamacare and oversaw the highly successful pilot project of AFP’s new field program – a program that registered thousands of new voters and is now being replicated nationwide.  Dave’s leadership made AFP the go-to organization for limited government, free market policy in Virginia.  He has made media appearances on Fox, NBC, CBS and in the New York Times, Politico, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal. Karen JarochKaren Jaroch: Florida Regional Coordinator for Heritage Action, she is an engineer turned community organizer. She co-founded a flourishing grassroots organization in the Tampa area educating and promoting American principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility at the local level. She also managed a successful issue-based campaign in 2010 by marrying conservative think-tank research with grassroots activism resulting in policy success–stopping a local tax hike. During the 2012 election cycle she served as a field coordinator in the Tampa area building grassroots relations with conservative organizations while managing a top-producing volunteer phonebank and canvassing center:

 Grace-Marie TurnerGrace-Marie Turner: President of the Galen Institute, a public policy research organization that she founded in 1995 to promote an informed debate over free-market ideas for health reform.  She testifies regularly before Congress and advises senior government officials, governors, and state legislators on health policy. She is a co-author of Why ObamaCare Is Wrong for America, published by HarperCollins in 2011. Grace-Marie served for a three-year term as a member of the National Advisory Council of Healthcare Research and Quality, served as a member of the Medicaid Commission, and on the Long Term Care Commission. Grace-Marie is founder and facilitator of the Health Policy Consensus Group which serves as a forum for analysts from market-oriented think tanks around the country to analyze and develop policy recommendations

Bob Keeler

Bob Keeler: Principle of Patrick Henry Tea Party. Founder of 4 Tea Parties. Membership Chair of Virginia Tea Party Patriots Federation, consisting of 42 Tea Parties in Virginia. Bob and his team put up Gadsden type signs on private property all over Hanover County , VA. His idea has quickly spread to other VA counties. They rotate signs every three weeks so commuters will get to see all their signs over time.

Maj. General Paul Vallely (retired)Ret. Maj, General Paul Vallely, US Army  was born in DuBois, Pa. He retired in 1991 from the US Army as Deputy Commanding General, US Army, Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. General Vallely graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point and was commissioned in the Army in 1961 serving a distinguishing career of 32 years in the Army.General Vallely is a graduate of the Infantry School, Ranger and Airborne Schools, Jumpmaster School, the Command and General Staff School, The Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the Army War College. His combat service in Vietnam included positions as infantry company commander, intelligence officer, operations officer, military advisor and aide-de-camp. He has over fifteen (15) years experience in Special Operations, Psychological and Civil-Military Operations.He is the founder of Stand Up America

Alex MarlowAlexander Marlow: is the Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart News Network. As Andrew Breitbart’s first hire, Marlow helped launch the Right’s most infamous online publisher’s family of websites. He has been involved in breaking and developing numerous stories of international significance, including the ACORN child prostitution scandal and “Weinergate,” which lead to the resignation of former U.S. Congressman Anthony Weiner. At the age of 27, he is perhaps the youngest top editor of a major media publication in the country. Alex graduated from U.C. Berkeley where he was an Activism Adviser for Young America’s Foundation. His work with the Berkeley College Republicans landed him on the cover of TIME Magazine in 2008. Alex sits on the National Journalism Center’s Board of Governors.

Rep.Louie GohmertRep. Louie Gohmert: Congressman Louie Gohmert was first sworn in January 4, 2005. He proudly represents the First District of Texas which encompasses over 12 counties stretching nearly 120 miles down the state’s eastern border. During these trying economic times, Rep. Gohmert is developing innovative solutions to jumpstart our economy and offering practical alternatives to the government’s bailout frenzy. Congressman Steve KingRep. Steve King: grew up in a law enforcement family in Storm Lake, Iowa. He attended Denison Community High School, where he met Marilyn Kelly, whom he married in 1972. Steve and Marilyn have three grown sons and five grandchildren. King received a special waiver to serve on the House Small Business Committee so he could work to restrict government regulations that impede the growth of business and jobs. He continues to sit on the Small Business Committee as he serves Iowa’s new Fourth District and he brings with him to the Committee firsthand knowledge of challenges faced by small business owners. He also sits on the following Subcommittees within Small Business: Agriculture, Energy and Trade; Healthcare and Technology; Economic Growth, Tax and Capital Access; Contracting and Workforce.

Congressman. Jim BridenstineRep. Jim Bridenstine: Congressman Jim Bridenstine is a Navy pilot and combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and lives with his wife Michelle and their three children in Tulsa, OK. Bridenstine graduated from Rice University with degrees in economics, business and psychology. After college, he joined the Navy and became a pilot, flying combat missions off the USS Abraham Lincoln in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Operation Southern Watch in Iraq, and Operation Shock and Awe in Iraq. Anne-Marie MurrellAnn-Marie Murrell: Is the anchor and National Director/Editor-in-Chief of, which was recently nominated at CPAC as the “People’s Choice Blogger of the Year”. Ann-Marie writes for dozens of respected Conservative websites including TownHall,  Daily Caller, Front Page Magazine, The Blaze and more.  Ann-Marie speaks at rallies across the US and is a frequent guest on radio and TV shows, including a recent appearance on the Dr. Phil Show in which she represented the conservative viewpoint.  Ann-Marie will also soon have her own weekend talk show on One America News Network, so stay tuned for that.

Jenny Beth MartinJenny Beth Martin: lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her husband, Lee Martin, and her son and daughter twins. In February of 2009 following a series of massive expansions of the United States government by congress under both Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, Jenny Beth Martin and several other concerned citizens formed the beginnings of the modern Tea Party movement. Making use of her already established social and blogging network, as well as an email list of contacts that she had built over years of political volunteer work, she contributed to the nascent Tea Party movement by reaching out to and mobilizing thousands of like-minded citizens. website:

Kevin FreemanKevin D. Freeman: is considered one of the world’s leading experts on the issues of Economic Warfare and Financial Terrorism. He has consulted for and briefed members of both the U.S. House and Senate, present and past CIA, DIA, FBI, SEC, Homeland Security, the Justice Department, as well as local and state law enforcement. His research has been presented in critical DoD studies on Economic Warfare, Iran, and Weapons of Mass Destruction presented to the Secretary of Defense and the Under Secretary of Defense, Intelligence. He has traveled extensively with research trips to Russia and China and throughout Europe and the Americas. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Center for Security Policy and a Contributing Editor to The Counter Terrorist magazine.

Michael CutlerMichael Cutler: A Fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, an advisor to the “911 Families for a Secure America,” and a consultant, retired in 2002 after a distinguished career with the INS of over 30 years, including 26 as a Special Agent. In 1991, he was promoted to the position of Senior Special Agent and was assigned to the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force and worked with members of other federal and state law enforcement agencies as well as law enforcement organizations of other countries.  Mr. Cutler has testified as an expert witness at nine Congressional hearings on issues relating to the enforcement of immigration laws having been called by members of both political parties. Mr. Cutler also furnished testimony to the Presidential Commission on the Terrorist Attacks of September 11.

Danny Oliver

Danny Oliver: founded the TParty’s student movement and advises Tea Party Youth ( the original and only youth-founded, youth-owned and youth-controlled movement dedicated to the Tea Party’s future. He organizes the movement for Tea Party Professors ( and the annual Tea Party Conference ( for young people.

Adam BrandonAdam Brandon: He currently serves as the Executive Vice President of FreedomWorks, a non-profit organization headquartered in Washington DC that mobilizes grassroots activists nationwide to fight for less government, lower taxes and more freedom. Brandon currently focuses on directing priorities between each department and concentrates his efforts to match up the institution’s goals with the resources available. As a result of his oversight in each department as well as the direction of each department’s priorities, Brandon is able to ensure that each staff member is provided the resources needed for FreedomWorks to effectively accomplish their mission and restore Liberty within each state.

Bill NortonBill Norton: is the National Support Team Constitutional Coordinator for Tea Party He is responsible for developing educational material related to the Constitution for the organization. Bill has also been volunteering with the National Center for Constitutional Studies, or NCCS, for 10 years updating educational material related to the Constitution. Charlie KirkCharlie Kirk: is the founder and executive director of Turning Point USA, a national student movement dedicated toward educating young people about the importance of fiscal responsibility, free markets,  and capitalism. Lieutenant Colonel Ken BenwayLt Col. Amy KremerAmy Kremer: became politically active early in 2009 through social media. She was one of the original founders of the Atlanta Tea Party and was also the nationwide event coordinator for the first round of tea parties that took place across the country on Feb. 27.  In August 2009, Amy joined the Tea Party Express bus tour and traveled across the country. Shortly before the second Tea Party Express tour, Amy left Tea Party Patriots and joined the Tea Party Express PAC as director of grassroots and coalitions. Gail BlissGail Bliss: From the stage of the Grand Ole Opry to the National Arts Center in Ottawa, Canada, Gail Bliss has been a full-time professional entertainer for the past 16 years, performing at prestigious venues such as these across North America. At present she is entering into her 4th season at Myrtle Beach’s Alabama Theatre where she is a featured female vocalist and saxophone player in the theatre’s variety production show called “ONE.” This 2,000 seat theatre has been named the Top Entertainment Venue in the Southeast for the last several years.

Jeff Duncan Rep. Jeff Duncan: is a South Carolina native and a 1988 graduate of Clemson University. Prior to being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Duncan served as branch manager and an Assistant Vice President during his seven years of working in community banking. Later, he became the President and CEO of J. Duncan Associates, a South Carolina based, family owned real estate marketing firm which specialized in statewide real estate auctions. Elected in 2010 to the 112th Congress, Jeff currently sits on three House committees including the Natural Resources Committee, the Homeland Security Committee, and the Foreign Affairs Committee.

 Congressman Mick MulvaneyRep. Mick Mulvaney: Congressman Mulvaney was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010 – after defeating 28-year incumbent John Spratt. He has served on the House Small Business Committee, the house Budget Committee, and the Joint-Economic Committee. Mick has worked tirelessly to create solutions to our largest problem – national debt. He most notably co-authored “Cut, Cap, and Balance” – as an alternative to raising the debt ceiling in August of 2011.  ”Cut, Cap, and Balance” would have cut spending, capped spending, and allowed for a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution.

Congressman Tom RiceRep. Tom Rice: Congressman Rice has a deeply rooted connection to the Grand Strand and Pee Dee areas. Tom entered Congress with a commitment to spur economic development, a drive to implement real tax and spending reform, and a passionate belief that limited government will better serve the needs and growth of the Seventh Congressional District of South Carolina by protecting its unique entrepreneurial spirit. Tom was the Chairman of Horry County Council where his main focus was on job creation.

Congressman Joe WilsonRep. Joe Wilson: serves on the House Armed Services Committee – where he serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Military Personnel – the Committee on Education and the Workforce, and the Committee on Foreign Affairs. He was appointed by the Republican Leader to the highly influential Republican Policy Committee and works as an Assistant Republican Whip.  Richard-CashRichard Cash: is not a typical political candidate.  His life experiences include being a husband of 28 years, a proud father, a corporate computer analyst, a full time pro-life missionary, a volunteer youth coach and athletic director, and the founder and owner of two small businesses.  A staunch conservative all of his life, Richard entered the sphere of politics in the 2010 election cycle, when he was one of eight Republican candidates who entered the race for Gresham Barrett’s vacant congressional seat.  As a political outsider, During the course of a 14 month campaign, Richard developed an enthusiastic grass roots organization that drove him to the forefront of the race.

Nancy-MaceNancy Mace: Nancy graduated as the first woman from The Citadel’s Corps of Cadets in 1999 with magna cum laude honors. She earned a degree in Business. Nancy eventually pursued a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Georgia’s School of Journalism, focusing on public relations. Nancy married her husband Curtis in 2004. When she had her first child, Miles Emory, Nancy decided to become a stay-at-home mom. During this time she began working on a few public relations and marketing projects to stay engaged before her second child, daughter Ellison Anne was born. Nancy started a small consulting business The Mace Group.

Sen. Lee BrightSC Sen Lee Bright: Known as a fiscal and social conservative, Senator Lee Bright was elected to the South Carolina State Legislature in 2008. Sen. Larry GroomsSC Sen. Larry Grooms: was first elected to the South Carolina Senate in 1997. He represents District 37, which includes parts of Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton and Dorchester counties. Senator Grooms is Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee. He also serves on the Finance; Agriculture and Natural Resources; Fish, Game and Forestry; and Education committees. Senator Grooms has received many awards in his political career the most notable of which are: the Palmetto Leadership Award, South Carolina Policy Council, 2007; the Legislative Champion, Palmetto Family Council, 2008; and the Taxpayer Champion Award, Club for Growth, 2008. SC State Treasurer Curtis LoftisSC Treasurer Curtis Loftis: was elected State Treasurer of South Carolina on November 2, 2010.  A native of Lexington County and graduate of the University of South Carolina,  He was elected on the promise to protect state funds by working to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse and bring transparency and accountability to state government, and since taking office he has worked everyday to keep that promise. Some of his notable efforts include: posting his entire work calendar and all travel expenses online; posting important financial reports, records, and documents online; refusing a state-issued car, instead opting to drive his own car to and from the office; forcing the State Budget and Control Board meetings to a larger venue to allow for greater public access; and conducting the first audit of the State Treasurer’s Office since 1988.

Attorney General Alan WilsonSC Attorney General Alan Wilson: was elected South Carolina’s Fifty-First Attorney General on November 2, 2010, and took office on January 12, 2011, becoming the nation’s youngest Attorney General.  Wilson has defended the Constitution and the laws of this state even if it means challenging the federal government. He has protected South Carolina’s right-to-work; helped lead the 26-state challenge to the federal health care mandate; and successfully safeguarded South Carolina’s voter identification and immigration laws in court.  Today, he is actively engaged in state and federal litigation to provide safe harbor to South Carolina’s ports, shield the state’s energy interests at Yucca Mountain, as well as a constitutional challenge of Dodd-Frank.

Sheriff Ray Nash: began a law enforcement career that has now spanned over 32 years!I worked narcotics as a Special Deputy and went on the road as an officer, and later road supervisor, for the Irmo (S.C.) Police Department. In 1983, he was appointed Police Chief  when heI was only 23 (don’t get too excited – Irmo was a teeny, tiny department – and they drove Volkswagen Rabbits for police cars)! In the mid 1980’s, he worked on staff at the Institute of Police Technology and Management (I.P.T.M.) in Jacksonville, FL. Among other things, he was responsible for all micro-computer, tactical, training officer, and special investigations courses.

Sheriff Al CannonSheriff Al Cannon: James Alton Cannon, Jr., is the elected Sheriff of Charleston County.  He was first elected Sheriff in February 1988. Sheriff Cannon is responsible for oversight of a budget of over $55 million.  Sheriff Cannon earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the College of Charleston, a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina.   He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the United States Supreme Court Bar. In 2012, Sheriff Cannon celebrated his 30th Anniversary of admission to the South Carolina Bar.  In 2006, he retired from the U. S. Air Force Reserves at the rank of Colonel after 29 years of service. Colonel Cannon was deployed to many sites around the world in a counterterrorism role with command authority over the security of deployed personnel.

Sen.Tom DavisSC Sen. Tom Davis: has been a Republican member of the South Carolina State Senate, representing District 46. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008.  Davis earned his B.A. from Furman University in 1982. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Maryland in 1985. Davis is the former Chief of Staff for South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford. He is currently an attorney, working for Harvey & Battey. In late 2010, Davis pre-filed a bill that would radically overhaul the awarding of economic development incentives and subsidies by state government.

Sen. Daniel VerdinSC Sen. Danny Verdin:  is graduate of Bob Jones University and is presently the owner of Verdin’s Farm & Garden Center.  Danny Verdin was first elected to the Senate in 2000 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. Sen. Verdin had previously served as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Advisor to Governor Carroll Campbell, which makes his chairmanship of this committee particularly suited to his experience.  In 2006 the S.C. Farm Bureau honored Sen. Verdin with their prestigious Legislator of the Year Award. This year Senator Verdin was named Legislator of the Year yet again, this time by the S.C.
