Sen Mike Lee On Mark Levin Show – Omnibus

posted by Leave a Comment

Mark Levin interviewing Mike LeeMark Levin asks Senator Mike Lee for his opinion on the Cromnibus package, and the hundreds of millions of dollars of pork that are tucked away into every corner of the bill. Levin raises a point that he picked up from Byron York that the bill contains some very minute spending constraints for some of its contents, a very apparent invalidation of the claims of those who said that spending restraints could not be part of it and refused to use that tool to fight the illegal Obama/Boehner/Johnson amnesty.

Senator Lee says that each Senator will have to explain their own vote. He says, “I voted against it because this was the worst process you can possibly imagine for a bill. It was not even released to the public until days before it was voted upon. And then, even after that happened, they added another hundred and fifty pages to it, so that it’s well over 1,700 pages long now. It contains all kinds of things.

2013 Year in Review: Tea Party Beats Washington

posted by Leave a Comment

Tea Party Is Here To StayThe past year has by far been the best for the Tea Party movement in its short history. In 2013, the five-year old conservative grassroots upsurge has grabbed Washington, D.C. by the collar, tearing the city colloquially known as “Boomtown” in a conservative direction for the first time in decades. As the Tea Party movement matures, it is getting more professional in its political activism.

The way the Tea Party won 2013 is by entrenching itself in Washington warfare and fighting for conservative victories by connecting powerful grassroots activists directly with lawmakers in decision-making positions. What has happened is the movement has matured, and learned how to manipulate the ways of Washington to promote conservative policies while defeating liberal ones.

In the short months after President Barack Obama’s re-election, a core group of conservative House Republicans–many of whom were elected in 2010 or 2012–developed a plan to attempt to unseat House Speaker John Boehner on the House floor. While the early January vote was ultimately unsuccessful, the 12 House conservatives willing to stand up to Speaker Boehner scared him as he began the 113th Congress.

Exclusive–Tea Party to Mitch McConnell: ‘You Cannot Win Without Us’

posted by Leave a Comment

Does This Mean WarA major GOP donor who told Breitbart News Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made disparaging remarks about the Tea Party movement and about Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) continues to stand by his original story after claims that the reports were not accurate.

This individual reported that on the Oct. 30 fundraising call American Crossroads’ Karl Rove and Steven J. Law held with McConnell, “McConnell specifically talked about Mike Lee by name, specifically talked about Ted Cruz by name, and he specifically talked about the Tea Party by name,” the donor told Breitbart News in response to a story Rove’s and McConnell’s teams have purported shows otherwise.

God Bless the Conservative Warriors-David Limbaugh

2013-10-28T204800Z_1_CBRE99R1LS300_RTROPTP_3_USAI just don’t understand it. Everywhere we turn, we conservatives are told we need to moderate, be less extreme, be more bipartisan. The public just wants us all to get along and solve our major problems together.

Democratic politicians and the liberal media harp on the alleged extremism of mainstream conservatism, the tea party, Sen. Ted Cruz, conservative talk radio and anyone else who dares to call out President Obama and his Democratic congressional cohorts in plain language for what they’re doing to the country.
