Gov. Chris Christie has nominated allies of two of the most prominent Democrats in the nation to the Rutgers Board of Governors.
Christie, a Republican, today announced that he’s nominated Susan McCue, a former chief of staff to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid who played a key role in helping New Jersey Democrats keep control of the Legislature in 2013.
